  • Masterís degree in Art-history/Indian History or Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology or Ancient Indian History and Epigraphy with at least five years work experience in an academic, cultural or related institution. Excellent written & spoken communication skills and good computer skills are essential. The candidate should possess strong research skills, and have knowledge, interest and experience in conducting educational activities. In addition to the efficiency in outreach, the candidate should be flexible to carry out different tasks in the Museum and be fluent in English. Proficiency in Hindi or Marathi is preferable. This is a full time work at the Museum.


  • Qualification: Masterís degree in conservation with at least three years of work experience in conservation projects and related institution. The work experience could be lesser if the candidate is equipped with excellent conservation skills. The candidate should be able to handle textile and paper conservation in addition to preventive conservation. This is a full time work at the Museum.


  • Museum offers internships to students with college degrees, recent graduates, graduate students, postgraduates, and mature professionals pursuing further experience in the field of arts. Interns are assigned to a department based on their academic background, professional skills, interests, and career goals. Interns participate in the ongoing work of the department and complete specific projects or portions of larger departmental initiatives. Museum offers internship initially for six months however the period can be extended depending on the performance of the intern and need of the museum.
